Jika anda masih mencari-cari aplikasi pengingatan waktu solat untuk telefon Android anda, aplikasi My Prayer ini mungkin boleh menjadi pilihan. Terdapat beberapa ciri-ciri menarik yang boleh didapati didalam aplikasi ini. Antaranya adalah kompas arah kiblat, pengera waktu subuh, 2 pilihan paparan widget dan yang paling unik adalah ciri mod silent yang berfungsi secara automatik. Ciri ini amat berguna terutama ketika solat Jumaat jika anda terlupa untuk menutup telefon anda sewaktu solat. Walaupun masa yang dipaparkan tidaklah sama 100% dengan waktu yang dikeluarkan oleh JAKIM dan laman e-solat namun aplikasi ini turut memberi pilihan untuk menukar perbezaan minit antara waktu yang dipaparkan dan anda boleh menyelaraskan waktunya mengikut pilihan anda. Aplikasi ini juga mampu mengesan lokasi terkini anda dengan menggunakan GPS atau wireless network location.

Free from Ads in Android

Got bored with ads on free apps from Android Market?
Install Adfree

No need to tick any selection . Just click "Download & Install Hosts". But you must install Universal Androot or any root apps to get this to work.

Click "Go Root" and make sure you are rooted before installing Adfree. Once the hosts files is updated, you should restart your phone to clear DNS caches. You will now have an "almost" ads free android phone (some ads could make its way back to your phone but keeping Adfree updated should solve the problem)

P/S : Rooting your phone will void your warranty. Use at your own risk.

Modded android for Galaxy 5

Madteam http://madteam.co came out with modified version of Froyo for Galaxy 5. Most recommended versions are:-

These versions differ from the official Froyo released by Samsung by having more options and have been optimized to make Galaxy 5 runs faster, making the battery lasts longer and increased overall performance.
