Droidwall Android Firewall

Hate the banner that keep popping up while you are playing your favourite games on your Android? Wondering why you keep being charged for excessive usage? Your apps might be connecting to the Internet without you knowing.

Install Droidwall to block the apps from connecting to the web. It allows you to restrict which apps can access the network.

Just enable the firewall (enabling logs are optional), choose which apps you would like to allow to connect to the Internet (facebook, opera, browser, twitter etc), select the connection method that you allow (check the wifi box only to disable connection via 3G), click "Apply Rules" and you are set.

Worked only with rooted phones (click here for link to Universal Root)
